Electrifying Nesbitt attracted to USC offense

Greensboro (Ga.) Greene County four-star quarterback/athlete Josh Nesbitt is one of the top overall athletes in the Peach State this year, and a decision from him could be on the horizon.
"I could be deciding in the next couple of weeks," the 6-foot-2, 210-pound Nesbitt said. "I'm not sure of that yet, but that's what I'm thinking about as of tonight."

Several teams are still under consideration.
"South Carolina, North Carolina, Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Florida, Florida State, UCF, those are the schools I can think of off the top of my head that have offered me," he said. "I haven't really eliminated any of them."
South Carolina, who is recruiting Nesbitt to play a multi-dimensional role similar to current Gamecock Syvelle Newton, has made a quick rise up Nesbitt's list.
"Who wouldn't want to play in an offense like Steve Spurrier's? He's one of the best there is in the country. I like the idea of being a big part of an offense like that."
Georgia and Georgia Tech are each hoping to keep Nesbitt in-state.
"I've been a Georgia fan all my life, and I always wanted to be a Bulldog when I we little. But sometimes you start seeing things differently when you get older. Georgia Tech is switching to more of a shotgun offense, and that might be a good fit for me. I'm not sure yet, though."
Florida rounds out the list of schools Nesbitt commented on.
"Urban Meyer is a great coach, too, and it might be good to run that spread option offense. They have a great program, too."
Nesbitt will make his decision based on multiple factors.
"I want to get a good education, and I want to know I'll be in a position where I can get on the field early in my career. I want to play for a good team, too."
With a potential decision looming, Nesbitt isn't going to name any favorites.
"I'm still pretty wide open. I'm going to do some thinking and just go from there."
