Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas three-star wide receiver Leonard Hankerson may not receive the publicity of some of the other top wide receivers in the Sunshine State this year, but that hasn't stopped him from quietly racking up an impressive offer list.

"I think I'm up to 17 offers," the 6-foot-3, 190-pound Hankerson said. "I haven't eliminated any schools or anything, but some of the ones I like are Miami, Ohio State, NC State, Florida and South Carolina."
Hankerson, who says he has been timed in the 40-yard dash in 4.4 seconds, likes multiple aspects of the Miami program.
"I like their style of play and the coaching staff," he said. "UM is a great program."
South Carolina also rates highly on Hankerson's list.
"They have great wide receivers, and a great offense for those receivers to play in. They throw the ball a lot, and they have great coaches."
Florida rounds out the list of schools Hankerson commented on.
"Florida has a great offense, too, and I like their coaches a lot. They throw it a lot, too."
Hankerson, who racked up 28 catches for 606 yards and 14 touchdowns as a junior, will choose his college based on four primary aspects.
"I want to play in a big-time conference, and I want to get some early playing time. Also, I want to play for a good coaching staff and get a good education."
Two in-state teams currently hold the edge for Hankerson.
"Miami and Florida stand out a little. I'm going to take some official visits early in my season, and then I'll make my decision after that."
