Hollywood (Florida) South Broward offensive tackle Jordon Carty has given the South Carolina staff more ammunition for a strong finish in the 2017 recruiting cycle, as the 6-foot-7, 265-pounder made his intentions to sign with USC known today, per David Furones of the Sun Sentinel.
The three-star offensive lineman camped in Columbia over the summer, earning an offer from the USC staff. Things picked up again in the couple months leading up to signing day, with new offensive line coach Eric Wolford visiting Carty's school during the January contact period.

Carty made official visits to Oregon State, Mississippi State and South Carolina during the process. Kentucky, North Carolina, NC State, and West Virginia also offered Carty, with Georgia, Louisville, and Miami showing interest.
