When Carlos Powell took a job this offseason as head JV and assistant varsity coach, he walked into a really good situation.

Ridge View has won two state titles in a row and have some of the best talent in the state. It gives Powell a chance to learn at a high-level and develop a future Gamecock, preparing him to go to his alma mater.
