INJURY REPORT
Following the game, three injuries were reported from the South Carolina locker room. There were no timetables for any of their returns.
Hutch Eckerson has a right ankle sprain. This could challenge the Gamecocks' offensive-line depth if Eckerson has to miss some time, considering that he is the backup to Kyle Nunn and Jarriel King.
Mike Triglia has a mild concussion. Triglia is mostly a special-teams guy and a backup tight end.
Kenny Davis has a sprained left wrist. Davis is a backup to Ladi Ajiboye and Travian Robertson on the defensive line but USC has depth to replace him. What's bad is that Davis was playing the best football of his career. Melvin Ingram and Byron Jerideau, who did not play on Saturday, should move up the depth chart.
Banged up
The only potentially bad ding-up during the game was to quarterback Stephen Garcia. Garcia said he got his right hand tangled up in a facemask after throwing a pass during the game. In his words, his hand is kind of "messed up," but he had no wraps or ice on it during the post-game.
Pre-game
USC had some questions before the game but answered all of them.
Terrence Campbell, who had a high ankle sprain but could have played if necessary last week, played on Saturday, although he was behind starter Rokevious Watkins.
D.J. Swearinger, who sustained a concussion against Southern Miss, played and had one tackle.
Ladi Ajiboye, who has a broken bone in his left hand, played with a cast on it that allowed his fingers to move out of the end. He had six tackles.
Out this week
LB Shaq Wilson (hamstring)
Spur Antonio Allen (hamstring)
DT J.T. Surratt (shoulder)
RB Eric Baker (knee)
Out for the season
OL Ryan Broadhead (knee)
