South Carolina is expected to name Maryland's Taylor Edwards as its new director of player personnel to replace Drew Hughes, Gamecock Central has confirmed.

Edwards has spent the last two years as the Terrapins' director of recruiting operations after spending 2018 running Arkansas' recruiting department.

Edwards, who has been working in recruiting since 2012, also has worked at Alabama.
