Gamecocks make final three for four-star receiver
South Carolina was one of the first schools to offer Dallas (Ga.) North Paulding four-star wide receiver Chad Terrell back in February and has his recruiting process narrows down, the Gamecocks are still firmly in the mix.
The 6-foot-3, 205-pounder recently announced a top three on Twitter that includes South Carolina, Oregon and N.C. State.
Terrell, who took an official visit to Oregon two weekends ago, has yet to official to South Carolina, but he has taken multiple unofficial visits, last checking out the school this summer.
"It was great," he told GamecockCentral.com at the time. "I had already been up there for a junior day. It's really nice up there. It was just interacting with everyone (that stood out). I liked spending time with all the coaches and highly recruited guys."
In addition to his three favorites, Terrell also has offers from Georgia Tech, Illinois, Kansas State, Middle Tennessee State, Mississippi, Troy, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest.
Rivals.com considers Terrell to be the No. 54 wide receiver in the country.
