The Gamecocks are coming off the program's first national title and have won four straight SEC regular season titles and three conference tournament championships in a row.
They went 33-4 last season, 14-2 in the SEC, en route to the team's second Final Four in three years and the national championship.

A'ja Wilson, who's won SEC Player of the Year twice in her three years so far, was picked to win it again this year. She is also on the preseason All-SEC First-Team.
Wilson averaged almost 18 points and eight rebounds a game last season, and she was a first-team All-American and the Final Four's Most Outstanding Player.
