Jamyest Williams: 'This is just the beginning'

Loganville (Ga.) Grayson ATH Jamyest Williams, one of the marque prospects in South Carolina's 2017 commitment class, was on hand for the Gamecocks' big 24-21 victory over Tennessee Saturday night.

The four-star playmaker, who will play defensive back at Carolina, chose the Gamecocks in August and has been working other prospects to join him in Columbia.

"This is just the beginning of great things to come," Williams said of Saturday's game. "Many don't know that Jake (Bentley) is supposed to be in my class but came early. He's one of the main reasons for this turnaround, but there is plenty of more work to do. Great all around team effort to get the W."

Williams is ranked the No. 10 ATH in the 2017 class by Rivals.com.
