Kingston adds Current to coaching staff

Mark Kingston has added Mike Current to his coaching staff at South Carolina.

Current, who served as the recruiting coordinator and assistant under Kingston at South Florida, is coming to Columbia under the same title.

Current has been paired with Kingston for over a decade, serving as part of his staff at Illinois State before moving on to South Florida when Kingston took that head coaching job.

He was the Bulls' recruiting coordinator and hitting coach while also working with the outfielders.

Current inked the program's first top-25 recruiting class in 2015.
