Myrtle Beach RB receiving USC interest

Class of 2016 Myrtle Beach (S.C.) running back Brandon Sinclair rushed for 1,322 yards and 22 touchdowns during his junior season, so it's no surprise that colleges are starting to show interest in the 5-foot-10, 200-pound back.

Sinclair, who is waiting on his first official offer, took in South Carolina's junior day late last month.
"It was fun. We got to go around and see the facilities and the new dorm that they're putting in and we got to see the highlight videos and we got some one-on-one time with the coaches," Sinclair said. "I sat in with coach Everette Sands and he showed us their running back highlights from this year, the inside zones that they run and all the passes and stuff, and showed how versatile their backs are. But overall it was a pretty good visit."
Sinclair, who tacked on 23 catches for 353 yards and two touchdowns, thinks he would be a good fit in the Gamecocks' scheme.
"I really like how their backs are versatile," Sinclair said. "They get the ball to their backs in many ways. They pass the ball to them and they run the ball a lot. I like the campus and the new dorms that they're putting in, those are like top-dollar facilities, and the new practice facilities."
Sinclair says he's been receiving plenty of handwritten correspondence from the Gamecocks in the weeks since the visit.
"We talked about (a possible offer) a little bit at the end (of the visit)," Sinclair said. "Coach Sands said he was going to watch my film and then get back with me after all this. That's all they really said."
Sinclair also plans to visit Duke soon.
