Nation's top 2018 RB, Zamir White, recaps South Carolina visit
Laurinburg (N.C.) Scotland County five-star Zamir White receives over 100 texts a day from coaches at programs hoping to lure the nation's top 2018 running back to their schools.
One of the coaches White hears from daily is Bobby Bentley, running backs coach at South Carolina, where White visited Saturday for the Gamecocks' 20-15 victory over ECU.
"Just the way they do things there, the coaches seem like they're really trying to get it up there," White said of South Carolina. "The fan base is crazy out there, the towels and all that, that was wild. It was a great game. They run plays like us, basically."
White says that just "talking to the coaches and just chillin" were highlights of the trip which featured a Powerpoint presentation detailing his plans and goals he could accomplish at South Carolina.
