Quick-hitters: Players prepare for trip to Swamp

Several South Carolina players met with the media to discuss this weekend's trip to Florida. Here are several notes:

** Offensive tackle Mason Zandi says the teams hasn't thought much about the fact that Will Muschamp is returning his former school or that Steve Spurrier is now working for Florida. Zandi says they're more focused on the actual game and just taking care of business. The team is well aware that if they win then they're technically still in the running for the division. Zandi says Muschamp hasn't acted any differently towards this game this week.

** Zandi says that the thing that stands out about Florida is they have a very sound defensive front.

** Chris Lammons says that Will Muschamp has been understanding of his issues the last two weeks, but he (Lammons) feels like he has let his team down. Lammons says the ejection versus Tennessee was due to a mental mistake. He says the targeting was more of just trying to play fast and not holding up. It was the right call, but he didn't intent to target.

** Lammons says that Muschamp hasn't acted like this game is any different to him, but they would still love to win it for him anyway. Lammons also says he has a lot of friends of the Florida team.

** Zandi says that Perry Orth is the player on the the team most likely to be President. Zack Bailey says that Zandi is most likely to be President. Lammons says that he is make likely to be President.

** Hayden Hurst said that when he first decided to come back to football that he reached out to Florida about the possibility of walking on there, but they weren't interested. Hurst is also friends with Florida quarterback Luke Del Rio.

** Deebo Samuel says that it's been fun to play now that he's healthy and that he has a mindset of trying to go get every football that comes his way.
