The highlights:
Practice wrapped up early today, before passing skeleton and team drill work.
OL Na'Ty Rodgers was at practice after an arrest over the weekend.
Linebackers coach Kirk Botkin said the future is bright at the position. He said that there was tremendous competition at each spot and that Sharrod Golightly missing some practice time enabled the youngsters to get more practice time. He said Jonathan Walton was a physical, fast guy and it's helped him and Marcquis Roberts to switch positions and train at a different spot. Botkin added that no starting positions were set for sure, noting that Skai Moore ran with the second team today.
Secondary coach Grady Brown said that TJ Gurley and Rico McWilliams were both moving around a lot better than last season. He said that it was hard to anticipate how much cornerback Brison Williams will ultimately play this season. He also said that it's been a "blessing" for the young cornerbacks to get so much work in practice, given the lack of numbers at the position.
Steve Spurrier did not speak with media on Tuesday.
INJURY REPORT: In yellow on Tuesday: Jordan Diaz (knee), Sidney Rhodes, Connor McLaurin (left leg), Jody Fuller (knee), Kane Whitehurst (left foot in a boot), Damiere Byrd (recovering from meniscus surgery)
