A native of Melbourne, Australia, the 6-foot-9 Tut averaged 8 points and 5.3 rebounds per game during the 2015/16 season for Monroe College.

Why did Tut decide that South Carolina was the place for him? He went into great detail:

"First and foresmost, just because of head coach Frank Martin. He's known for developing players, his intensity, and his coaching style," Tut said. "After the season they had last season, they had a pretty good run. I also chose them because of their great facilities and all the resources for us to get better. The coaching staff is very experienced. I knew about their strength coach when he was at Kansas State. On the visit, everything was perfect. If I come to South Carolina, I would have no choice but to be better. It's just great people, too."

Tut is likely the final member of South Carolina's 2016 class.
