South Carolina running backs coach Thomas Brown is expected to take a job with the NFL's Los Angeles Rams, according to a Tweet from Fox Sports and The Athletic's Bruce Feldman.
Brown, a former Georgia running back, has been at South Carolina for just one year but was instrumental in helping the Gamecocks reshape a running back room that loses four seniors this offseason.
Brown landed three running backs in the 2020 class including five-star MarShawn Lloyd, four-star ZaQuandre White and three-star Rashad Amos.
In December, Brown received a contract extension to two years and a raise from $300,000 per year to $500,000.
Gamecock Central will continue to track this developing situation.
