Hollifield took an official visit to Florida State for the N.C. State game and to South Carolina for the Arkansas game. He will be at North Carolina this weekend for an official visit. Virginia Tech hosted Hollifield for an unofficial visit for the Clemson game but he will be back for the North Carolina game because that will be his official visit. Stanford will get their chance to have Hollifield for an official visit the weekend of January 12th, the first weekend after the dead period ends.

In the video above Hollifield talks about all of these visits, how he feels about each school in his final five, as well as his commitment timeline. Here are some additional notes from the interview:

Florida State- The outcome of the game against N.C. State doesn’t make a huge difference to him. His visit was more about figuring out how he fits in with the community and as a student.

South Carolina- He really liked the atmosphere and how the coaching staff has improved the defense.

North Carolina- He knows they have a ton of injuries. Hollifield has known the coaches for a very long time.

Virginia Tech- He thought "coach Fuente had the best speech after the (Clemson) game." Hollifield spoke to coach Foster right after the game. They speak all the time. Coach Shibest texts him every day. Based on how they treated him for his unofficial visit, Hollifield is expecting them to roll out the red carpet for his official visit.

Stanford- He is nearly finished with the essays for Stanford’s admissions. "That’s my type of place. That’s me." It’s far from home but he thinks it fits him very well and they are thin at linebacker so he could play right away.
