Sindarius Thornwell just keeps on winning, this time doing it in the NBA as his Clippers beat the Lakers in their season opener.
The former Gamecock made his professional debut after being picked up in the second round by the Los Angeles Clippers and making the roster after a solid summer league performance.

He played three minutes and made one shot on one attempt, a three-pointer late in the Clippers' 108-92 win.
He was drafted in the second round of this year's draft (No. 48 overall) by the Milwaukee Bucks but was soon traded to the Clippers.

A former four-star prospect, Thornwell was a four-year starter under Frank Martin and graduated after leading the Gamecocks to the program's first-ever Final Four berth last season.
He averaged 14.7 points over his career, including a career high 21.4 points per game his senior year. He also averaged 5.2 rebounds a game en route to SEC Player of the Year honors.

PJ Dozier, who was signed to a two-way contract by the Oklahoma City Thunder this week, hasn't played in the NBA this season.
Two-way contracts mean a player can bounce between the NBA and the developmental league, the G League. Players on two-way contracts can spend a maximum of 45 days playing for the parent club.
The G League starts in early November.
