When Alexandria (Va.) Episcopal head football coach Mark Moroz first laid eyes on class of 2021 three-star linebacker Bryce Steele a few years ago, he instantly knew Steele was different.

"I have never seen anything like it from high school," Moroz told Gamecock Central on Wednesday. "When I got the job, he was a freshman, and I actually went up to him and said, 'Where are you going to college next year?' I had no idea he was a freshman in high school. He was a freshman in high school with like a full beard and just jacked. There's a reason he's one of the top recruits out here. He's an absolute stud. I'm excited to watch him down there."

Steele, now a rising senior, has developed into a high three-star prospect who likely would have risen into four-star territory if he didn't miss his entire junior campaign due to injury.
