Stafford still open

LaGrange (Ga.) defensive end D.J. Stafford recently debuted on Rivals.com as the Peach State's No. 10 prospect overall. While he has several offers to his credit, he has yet to narrow list of schools.
"I like Auburn, Georgia, Clemson, Alabama, Virginia Tech, South Carolina, and really the whole SEC and ACC," the 6-foot-3, 260-pound Stafford said. "I've been to Auburn's camp already, and I'm actually at Clemson right now. I'm supposed to go to Alabama sometime soon."

Stafford, who racked up 119 tackles and 11 sacks as a junior, was enjoying the Clemson visit at the time of the interview
"Coach (Billy) Napier and coach (Chris) Rumph are showing me around. We're just watching some film right now. We've toured the campus and everything. It's going good."
Stafford, who bench presses 350 pounds, also plans to visit South Carolina in the future.
"I just want to visit South Carolina to see what it's like. I've heard good things, but I just want to see it in person."
Georgia and Auburn round out the list of schools Stafford commented on.
"I haven't been to Georgia yet, but I'm going to go there sometime soon. I've been to Auburn so many times that the camp wasn't any different than the other trips. I just like the way they do things."
Stafford will base his decision on three primary factors.
"The coaching staff, the overall football program and probably the fans. Those are the main things."
Stafford isn't sure when he'll make his decision.
"I guess I'll do it when it feels right. Auburn, Georgia and Virginia Tech are my top three as of right now."
