Transfer quarterback Jason Brown's debut as South Carolina's starting quarterback was a rousing success Saturday night in the Gamecocks' 40-17 victory over Florida.

Brown completed 14 of 24 passes for 175 yards and two touchdowns while most importantly committing no turnovers and sparking a previously struggling Gamecocks offense.
