-- Cornerback Chris Lammons and defensive tackle Dante Sawyer were new additions to the list of Gamecocks in yellow no-contact jerseys. Lammons has sore ribs while Sawyer has a hamstring injury. Running back Brandon Wilds was in a yellow jersey as well, but said earlier in the day that he expects to play on Saturday. Quarterback Connor Mitch was in a regular garnet practice jersey.
-- Co-defensive coordinator Jon Hoke said that the he thought the Gamecocks' defense would fit the run better, because they work on it plenty in practice. It's something they have to work on this week and improve.
-- Linebackers coach Kirk Botkin said that Skai Moore was where he was supposed to be which allowed him to make both interceptions. Botkin said that there could be more rotation at linebacker this week, but they didn't rotate much last week because the Carolina offense was able to stay on the field and keep them rested.
