Lakeland (Fla.) wide receiver Paul Wilson attended three summer camps in the span of a week and feels good about his performances at each.

"First I went to Notre Dame, then to Florida and then to South Carolina," the 6-foot-1, 177-pound Wilson said. "I'm actually in Black Mountain, N.C., right now at the FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) camp this week."
Wilson believes he impressed the Notre Dame coaches.
"I only dropped one ball all day at Notre Dame, and I ran a 4.47 (in the 40-yard dash). We met Charlie Weis and all of the coaches while we were there. It's really gorgeous up there, but it's pretty far away. It was an all-day event getting there."
Wilson, who sports a 35-inch vertical leap. also enjoyed his time in Gainesville.
"I went to Florida with a bunch of my teammates, so that was pretty neat. We got to walk through the weight room while the team was lifting, and you could tell everyone was working hard to get better. I really liked their coaches a lot because they were so down to earth. It would be great to go there with my teammates, but the ball's in their (Florida's) court now."
South Carolina was his final stop on the football camp circuit.
"It was just as hot in Columbia as it is in Florida, so that kind of surprised me, but I had a good time there. There were some really good athletes in that camp, so it was good to compete with them. I was a little leg weary from all the travel, so I didn't really perform as well as I think I could have otherwise. It was also great to meet Steve Spurrier in person. Coach (Steve) Spurrier Jr. also spent some with me, and he has sent me a few text messages since the camp."
Wilson, who is also considering West Virginia (offered), Alabama, LSU and Georgia, is in no hurry to make a commitment.
"I don't have any kind of set time when I feel like I have to decide. It's really up to the schools to decide who wants to offer me and who doesn't. Once I know what my options are, I'll make a decision. Florida, South Carolina and Notre Dame are my top three, in order."
