After not hearing his name on the first two days of the draft, D.J. Wonnum didn't have to wait long to get plucked on the final day of the NFL Draft.

"This is a tremendous value pick because of the versatility," ESPN's Lou Riddick said on the broadcast.
He's the first Gamecock to be drafted by the Vikings since 2009 when Jasper Brinkley went to Minnesota. Sidney Rice and Troy Williamson are two notable players to get picked by the Vikings.
Wonnum was insanely productive as a starter at South Carolina, finishing with 137 career tackles and 14 sacks.
