Gamecocks defensive end signee lands fourth star

Atlanta (Ga.) Hapeville Charter defensive end Kingsley Enagbare Wednesday became the second prospect this week in South Carolina's 2018 class to become a four-star in the Rivals.com rankings.

“Enagbare helped lead his team to state title in 2017 and the South Carolina signee was about as consistent as they come throughout the season," Southeast Recruiting Analyst Chad Simmons said. "Not only can he set the edge, but he can pressure the quarterback at defensive end. He really just played himself into a four-star prospect through 15 games this season.”

The 6-foot-4, 255-pounder, who is actually already on South Carolina's campus as an early enrollee, also moved up to No. 24 in the country in the position rankings as a strongside defensive end.

On Tuesday, South Carolina commit Bryce Thompson moved into the Rivals250 as a four-star prospect.
